Call for papers

Óbuda University, Rejtő Sándor Faculty of Light Industry and Environmental Engineering is proud to be the host of the forthcoming 44th annual Conference of the International Circle of Educational Institutes for Graphic Arts Technology and Management (IC) on the 40th anniversary of the Faculty.

The IC is an informal network of about one hundred members from all over the world. A few mid-European universities for printing technology founded it in Lausanne, Switzerland, in 1957. Since fall 2006, Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Faigle, Prorector of the Stuttgart Media University (HdM), acts as president of the IC. Instructions for authors

Authors from IC member organizations, as well as from other universities, research institutes and industry are invited to submit results of their research for presentation at the 44th annual IC conference. The scope of the conference encompasses areas such as scientific or educational topics from the fields of Graphic Arts Technology, Management and Communication, in a wider sense. Papers will be selected on the basis of submitted abstracts of 200 to 300 words, including 3-5 keywords, submitted not later than 15 May, 2012.

All authors of submitted abstracts will be informed by the conference program committee of the results of the selection not later than 22 May, 2012. At the conference, each presenter will be given 25 minutes for the presentation, including 5 minutes for questions and answers.

To submit a presentation for the 44th annual IC conference please send an abstract clearly stating the content of the paper using the template. Submission guidelines, templates for abstract and papers can be found under 'General information'. Upon acceptance of your abstract please send a biographical sketch of the principal author up to 100 words.
